Christmas Pudding Chocolate Surprise
The excitement of Christmas is building already and we have the perfect Quick and Easy Christmas treat for you to use to impress family and friends. We promised you exciting new tips from the UK and this one comes fresh from the International Cake Show.
- Your favourite biscuit base - we used and Oreo biscuit as the size and pattern looks good but feel free to select or make your own biscuit
- A round Chocolate ball we used a Lindt ball but again feel free to select your own

- A little royal icing
- A sprig of holly for a decoration we purchased ours from a flower shop
We used a soft new makeup brush to apply the dust and a little baking paper to collect the sparkles! That’s all, so easy!

Simply use your soft brush to gently apply the gold sparkle dust to your biscuit you’ll be amazed at the transformation as the gold brings the pattern to life.
With your biscuit on the baking paper put a small dot of royal icing in the centre generous enough to hold you chocolate ball in place.
Take your Chocolate ball and gently coat it with the edible Gold Sparkle by Rolkem when it is covered gently place it on the centre of the biscuit using the royal icing to hold it in place. Looking good already? Resist the urge to eat it as we have one more step.
Take a little Holly leaf decoration you could make this from our red and green fondant but for this display we have used a plastic holly leaf from the florist.
Put a small amount of the Royal icing on top of your Chocolate ball to attach the holly leave and Hey Presto you are done!
